Personalized Cat Mug with Watercolor Portrait

Their face, on your favorite mug

Morning coffee is better with a familiar face. This custom cat mug turns your photo into a soft watercolor portrait, adds your cat’s name in a flowing script and prints the same design on both sides, so it faces you whichever hand you hold it in.

How it works

1. Choose a color. The inside and the handle come in Pink, Red, Maroon, Black, Orange, Yellow, Light Green, Blue or Light Blue. The outside is white.
2. Upload a photo and add a name. One cat per mug. Names can be up to 13 characters; longer names are set a little smaller to fit.
3. Approve your proof. We create the portrait from your photo, a person checks the likeness, and we email you a free digital proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

The live preview on this page shows your cat’s name in the mug’s lettering on a sample portrait. Your own portrait arrives with your proof.

The mug

• 11 oz (0.33 l) white ceramic mug with a colored interior and a C-shaped handle.
• About 3.8 in (96 mm) tall and 3.2 in (82 mm) across.
• Glossy finish, with the portrait and name printed on both sides.
• Dishwasher and microwave safe. You can also wash it by hand with warm water and dish soap.
• Printed to order.

Choosing your photo

Use a sharp, well-lit photo of one cat with the face, eyes and both ears clearly visible. A front-facing or slightly turned head works best. Upload the original photo from your phone rather than a screenshot.

Shipping and returns

Free U.S. shipping. We ship to the United States only. Production starts after you approve your proof, so the time you take to review it adds to the delivery estimate shown on this page. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. We email your tracking number when your mug ships.

Ask for any changes before you approve your proof. Because each mug is personalized, we can’t accept returns for a change of mind. If your mug arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we’ll replace it or refund you. See our Refund & Return Policy and Shipping Policy.
